St. Hilary vs. St. Luke 2

- St. Hilary Holds Off St. Luke 2 As A 5-Run Deficit Is Nearly Erased
- St. Hilary built a five-run lead in the third inning and then held off St. Luke 2's charge for an 8-6 victory on Wednesday. St. Luke 2 scored five runs in the failed comeback on a single by Declan T. in the fourth, a walk by Ian C in the fourth, a single by Brayden G. in the fourth, a single by Kelley R. in the fourth, and a single by Joe T. in the sixth.
- St. Hilary earned the victory despite allowing St. Luke 2 to score four runs in the fourth inning. St. Luke 2's big inning was driven by singles by Declan, Brayden, and Kelley and a walk by Charlie.
- George Conway was the winning pitcher for St. Hilary . He lasted 3 innings, allowing 3 hits and 3 runs while striking out eight. Mason Powell threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Tommy Yaegel also came in for 1 inning in relief from the bullpen. Powell recorded the last six outs to earn the save for St. Hilary .
- Joe T. took the loss for St. Luke 2. He surrendered eight runs on ten hits over five innings, striking out seven.
- St. Hilary racked up ten hits in the game. Sean Tingley-Kelly and Tommy Yaegel each had multiple hits for St. Hilary . Yaegel and Tingley-Kelly all had two hits to lead St. Hilary . St. Hilary stole 15 bases during the game as four players stole more than one. Gavin Muller led the way with three.
- St. Hilary gets the 8-6 Victory over St. Luke 2 in the Semi-Final Playoff Game to advance to the 2019 CYO Region 11 - Little League Baseball Championship!!
