St. Hilary vs. Nativity

St. Hilary gets the 7-3 Victory over Nativity.


St. Hilary Grabs Lead In Fourth Inning For the 7-3 Victory Over Nativity...

St. Hilary snagged a late lead and defeated Nativity 7-3 on Wednesday. The game was tied at three with St. Hilary batting in the bottom of the fourth when Mason Powell singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run. Eddie Collins got an RBI Double to tie the Game at 3.

Nativity got things moving in the first inning. Chucky drove in one when he singled.

St. Hilary pulled away for good with five runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Sean Tingley-Kelly singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run, then Gavin Muller tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs, and Charles Lovell grounded out, scoring one run.

George Conway was credited with the victory for St. Hilary. With a strong performance on the Mound He surrendered three runs on six hits over three innings, striking out four. Powell threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen. Powell recorded the last nine outs to earn the save for St. Hilary in the win.

Phillip took the loss for Nativity. He went five innings, allowing seven runs on eight hits and striking out three.

Liam Potichen led St. Hilary Lions with two hits in two at bats. St. Hilary tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases. Tingley-Kelly led the way with three. St. Hilary didn't commit a single error in the field.
